![]() ![]() ![]() Friday 11th November- Noo-Noo Orange/Pink.We would like to invite children to come either dressed in the colour of the day for example a top, leggings, pants, bobble, headband and socks etc. Alternately, they can bring in an item to put on their room display table, for example a purple teddy, a green ball, yellow flower or a red crayon, as long as the object is the colour of the Teletubbie/ Noo-Noo for that day. We feel this will be a great way to develop the children’s colour recognition skills. Essentially colour recognition is a vital learning tool as identifying colours can be used in many ways, such as a language tool to describe things which can help develop and strengthen children’s ability to communicate effectively. The role in which colour has on children’s development doesn’t stop there the list could go on. You can also download the free downloadable parent guide from the NDNA website. NDNA’s guides have been developed by their early year’s experts, and include fun activities such as Teletubbies Bubble Bonanza and Po’s Obstacle fun – please see To continue the learning from these activities, NDNA has also developed a short online course to use at home from the 7 th – 11 th November.
